IMPORTANT NOTICE OF MEETING!

Congratulations!

As President of your youth soccer league,  you have been selected

as an invitee to the Ralph C. Wilson Jr. Foundation and

Project Play Western New York Community Conversations 2019:

Building Stronger Youth Soccer Leagues.

BWNYJSL has partnered with Project Play WNY to offer member clubs a voice and an opportunity to be involved in a first of its kind initiative in WNY. This initiative is focused on building the organizational capacity to support high-quality youth sports organizations. The BWNYJSL/PPWNY capacity building initiative is free, and mini-grants will be awarded to leagues that participate.

You are probably most familiar with Project Play Western New York through our recent “Don’t Retire Kid” campaign. But our organization is not just raising awareness of the 84% of WNY children who don’t get enough activity, we envision a community in which all children have the opportunity to be active through sport! That means not only building awareness, but also providing the guidance and training necessary to develop the infrastructure, resources, and leadership to create vibrant and sustainable youth sports organizations.

On Tuesday, November 12 at 6:00 pm at the Community Foundation of Greater Buffalo we will begin this conversation. We hope to gain your input as a leader in your sport and to convey to you the opportunities available through the “Youth Sports Organization, Self-Assessment” pilot. Dinner will be served and free parking is available.

We hope you can join us!  Please register by clicking here.
